Molly Ockett Middle School – Landed by Roland’s Drywall

Molly Ockett Middle School is a $28 million expansion to accommodate students from C.A. Snow School, the enlarged Molly Ockett School is designed for up to 577 student in grades pre-K to 8. Arthur Dudley is the awarded General Contractor and Roland’s Drywall will spearhead the framing, sheathing, insulation, drywall and finishes.  The project will begin in September of 2015.

Jackson Labs Chooses Rolands Drywall

Jackson labs has Roland’s doing their newly purchased building in Ellsworth, Maine.  The former Lowe’s at Kingsland Crossing is being re-faced and the RDI team is literally “on it”.  The existing EIFS facade is being redone by the RDI team to Jackson Labs’ specifications.

RDI lands Historic 660 Congress Street – Portland

After suffering from years of neglect and a recent fire, 660 Congress Street in Portland is being re-imagined as a downtown landmark. Roland’s Drywall has been selected as the contractor to perform drywall and finishes at this historical landmark.  660 will be utilized as apartments and commercial space later this year.

FW Webb’s New Location goes to RDI

Roland’s Drywall lands the FW Webb project in Oakland.  The Owner and Contractor selected RDI to perform construction services for the new FW Webb builiding because of RDI’s quality, leadership and unsurpassed service.  Much thanks to the Owner and Construction team for working with us.

PNSY – SERE School Goes to RDI

The Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard and CCB select Rolands Drywall as their Drywall Contractor.  This sensitive project will include wood framing, metal framing, wood floor framing, stage framing, blocking, insulation and Drywall Finishes.

Maine Med Expansion underway

Maine Medical is expanding the Bean building and renovation plan is aimed at two primary objectives for the hospital, allowing Maine Medical Center to modernize and alleviate pressure in current operating rooms, which today are running at rates that are higher than industry norms, Maine Medical Center reported.  Suffolk Construction is the chosen contractor and Roland’s Drywall is spearheading the 40 million dollar expansion.

Roland’s Drywall Secures 11 Story Deering Pavilion Panelization Project

The scope of work will consist of prefabricating hundreds of metal stud wall panels here at our fabrication facility. The panels will be pre-finished with Dens Glass Sheathing, sprayed polyurethane foam, E.I.F.S. exterior cladding and pre-installed windows for a true – 100% pre-finished ready for installation type construction, the first of it’s kind in the State of Maine. The work will take place at our office complex in Sabattus, ME and will be shipped via trailer truck and erected onsite with a 100 Ton crane.

RDI awarded contract for TD Bank Call Center

Roland’s Drywall, Inc. was awarded the contract for the TD Bank Call Center at the Auburn Mall in Auburn, ME. Our scope of work will consist of exterior and interior metal stud framing, exterior sheathing, E.I.F.S., shaft-wall systems, acoustical insulation, thermal insulation, all drywall installation and taping finishes, USG Tuff-Hide primer surfacer coatings, Hilti fire stop systems, hollow metal door frame installation and installation of interior doors and hardware. Work is expected to start in February of 2010 with an August 2010 completion. The General Contractor is Pizzagalli Construction of Portland, ME and the Architectural Firm is Harriman Associates of Auburn, ME.
