Roland’s Drywall, Inc. is committed to the health of all of our employees as well as all other workers on a job site. This is a concerted effort from the President of our company down to our laborers on the jobsite. We all work collectively, striving to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
Roland’s Drywall has employed a safety policy since 1991, which has grown and evolved along with our industry. Roland’s has worked in tandem with MEMIC and their safety staff, Safety Works of Maine and a private Safety Consultant Firm which provides the latest updated standards and training for all employees annually. With these safeguards, Roland’s Drywall has established a MOD Factor of less than 1.0 and continues to demonstrate it’s commitment to emloyee safety and heath. All company supervisors and lead foremen are OSHA certified and trained in all safety aspects pertinent to our industry. All new employees are pre-screened through a local health provider and are given a pre-employment functional capacity exam prior to working on a jobsite. All workers are then trained and licensed accordingly prior to working. Our supervisors are required to participate in our weekly “Job Box” meetings, where they educate and discuss the aspects of our safety program with each employee as a team.
