Roland’s Drywall, Inc. was awarded the contract for the York High School Music Wing Addition in York, ME. Our scope of work will consist of exterior and interior metal stud framing, shaft-wall systems, acoustical insulation, thermal insulation, Henry Blueskin air and vapor barrier exterior envelope systems, all drywall installation and taping finishes. Work is expected to start in September of 2009 with a May of 2010 completion. The General Contractor is Ledgewood Construction of Portland, ME and the Architectural Firm is PDT Architects of Portland, ME.

Roland’s Drywall, Inc. was awarded the contract for the new HUD Project – Birch Hill Apartment Complex in Lewiston, ME. Our scope of work will consist of interior metal stud framing and resilient channels, acoustical insulation, thermal insulation, all drywall installation and taping finishes. Work is expected to start in June of 2009 with a September 2009 completion. The General Contractor is Benchmark Construction of Westbrook, ME and the Architectural Firm is Winton Scott Architects of Portland, ME.

Roland’s Drywall, Inc. was awarded the contract for the King Hall Renovation work at Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield, ME. Our scope of work will consist of light gauge exterior metal stud framing, exterior paperless dens glass sheathing and joint sealants, light gauge metal stud engineering and shop drawings, interior metal stud framing, acoustical insulation, thermal insulation, Carlisle Air and Vapor Barrier weather wraps and trims, rigid insulation, plywood, wood blocking, all drywall installation and taping finishes. Work is expected to start in May of 2009 with a September 2009 completion. The General Contractor is The Sheridan Corporation of Fairfield, ME and the Architectural Firm is Harriman Associates of Auburn, ME.

January 2009: Roland’s Drywall, Inc. was awarded the contract for the new $16,000,000 Durham K-8 School in Durham, ME. Our scope of work will consist of light gauge exterior metal stud framing, exterior paperless dens glass sheathing and joint sealants, light gauge metal stud engineering and shop drawings, interior metal stud framing, acoustical insulation, thermal insulation, light gauge steel manufactured roof trusses, all drywall installation and taping finishes. Work is expected to start in June of 2009 with an August 2010 completion. The General Contractor is Arthur Dudley Contracting of Standish ME and the architect is Harriman Associates of Auburn, ME.

January 2009: Roland’s Drywall, Inc. awarded the North Street Health Care Center in Presque Isle, ME. The work consists of the renovation of the former Hannaford Store into health care offices.
