Roland’s Drywall, Inc was established in 1985 by Roland L. Fortin after spending sixteen years working in the drywall business. Roland began working in the drywall industry in 1969 as a taper/finisher where he worked for Jean Pepin Drywall of Augusta, Maine.

Roland’s Drywall, Inc. established it’s identity as one of the premier residential contractors for several years before expanding into the commercial aspects of construction in the late 1980’s. Commercial construction now serves as our primary focus of business while still holding true to our roots of residential drywall. Commercially, Roland’s Drywall, Inc. is highly regarded and viewed as an industry leader in quality and service.

The legacy of Roland’s Drywall will continue with Tony Fortin’s purchase of his family owned company on January 1, 2010. Tony has been serving as Vice President and part Owner of Roland’s Drywall for the last eleven years. He has worked in the family business since childhood and has been in charge of operations for the last few years where he’s implemented new business practices and modernized their construction approach. Roland’s Drywall now uses state of the art “on screen takeoff” Estimating Software, new age construction techniques / services providing in house design / development, Engineered pre-manufactured metal stud wall panelization and diversified services from energy efficient building envelope systems, window installation, sidings & claddings, spray foams and more. Tony recieved his education through The University of Maine System where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication.
